Happiest Place on Earth!

We are home after our wonderful vacation. It was good to see family and have a great time at Disney World. The first picture is of grace getting an made up like a princess from a fairy godmother in training. She is watching her do her nails. Very cute.

This is Jed after becoming a pirate. He has a hard time understanding the concept of looking at the camera for a picture, especially while on a boat!
Sweet Olivia waiting for our Safari to start. Our driver got stuck for a few minutes, but then we were off. It was very cool.
More pictures to come soon, just wanted to do a quick post.

Less Than 24 Hours!!!

Our trip to Disney World is less the 24 hours away! We are so excited. We told the kids that they would get to wear their new Disney shoes to break them in, and then we couldn't wear them until we were going to Disney World, so here they are in their shoes. It was the best way to get Jed in a new pair of shoes. This is of Grace today, her last day of school for the year. She cried, of course, because she is ALL drama. Jed was able to go today as well, which left me lots of time to get things done.
We hope you all have a good week or so. We will be back to blogging (with lots of pictures) around Memorial Day!

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's day to all the wonderful moms out there. You are all an inspiration to me. I love each of you and respect the wonderful work you are doing. I had to teach sharing time today and we made butterflies with this poem, so here in my poem to you.

You're My Butterfly

You are the most beautiful thing
I've ever seen
You shine just like sunlight rays
On a winter snow
I just had to tell you so

Your eyes sparkle as the stars
Like the moon they glow
Your smile could light the world on fire
Or did you know?

Your mind is full of everything
That I want to know
I just had to let you know
I just had to tell you so
You’re my butterfly

A long week

Has it seemed like a really long week to anyone else? We didn't do much, just the same old. Here is one of my favorite pictures of Olivia. How cute is that smile?
Grace and Jed were playing "Belle and Gaston" Some how Sleeping Beauty is Belle and the stop sign for the train tracks is Gaston. Funny Kids!
I finally got around to putting up my letters from my sister, I think it turned out cute. Thanks SueAnnie!

Moving?

Well, no, but one would think so after I brought out all the girl 6-12 month clothes from the basement. I admit, some are smaller, and a few a bit bigger, but all were worn during that time. Yikes! I was just telling Chris we had to buy Olivia some clothes because I thought she had none in that size. Boy, I was wrong. Too bad I already bought them. I decided to look in the boxes so I could find her a swim suit for the upcoming trip, but I didn't realized the goldmine stashed down there. Now I have to wash them:(On to cuter pictures, here are a few of Olivia in the tub. I have finally decided she is a good enough sitter to bathe sitting up. She seemed to like it.

Just Cute

We have had nothing thrilling going on at our house, but I know some grandparents who enjoy pictures, so here are some more. We took this one after church one day, and for some reason she is playing with his ear. I guess whatever makes them smile. This one was taken during the infamous pink leotard bike ride. Just a cute little girl. She just went to the doctor and is now a whopping 15 pounds. She is learning to LOVE table food. Blueberry pancakes are a favorite.
I just got the letter saying Grace was accepted to the pre-K program here, so she will be in school 5 days a week, all day long come August. I am a little worried about her being gone so long, but she is more then ready for it. She is most excited about riding the bus, which is funny, because we live about 1/3 mile from the school!
Jed is also going to the little school that Grace is in now. He starts in Sept. Right now it goes from 8:30-11:30 3 days a week, and is run by the high school. Next year though, it goes until 1 p.m. still 3 days a week. What will I do with myself. One friend here said I better be careful or Chris will get me pregnant again! So true. . .
