Dothan

The kids and I went to Dothan this weekend to visit Chris and look around. They have a fantastic recreation facility there, and we stopped to play at the park a few times. Grace learned how to do a penny flip and was soooo proud. Is there anything more girl than flips on a bar? Jed was king of the slide, which was the slide of terror. Think of the metal slides that are REALLY steep and burn you butt on the way down, this was the same, but in plastic. He wanted to give 5 on the way down each time. Olivia was her normal self. She just crawls around, thinking she is queen bee and can do whatever she wants.

House, anyone?

Well, it is now official We are on the market and hoping to sell fast. I am only hoping and praying, but that is all you can do right? Things are otherwise going well. We are getting into a routine with Chris gone, and this weekend we get to go to Alabama for the first time. Hopefully it will be a good experience. This is a picture I snapped while we were on a walk. A nice neighbor was getting us some tomatoes, so I had a chance to take a quick picture. It is the best we get with these 3!
SueAnn, who does this remind you of? This is one of her favorite places to play. And it keeps her busy forever. The spitting image of Grace at that age.

Only 11 months later...

Well, my baby finally has her first tooth. It came in at exactly 11 months, after 3 weeks of teething. How many teeth do they get, because she is going to grandma's for the rest of them. I thought this picture was classic, as if she knows how to go straight for the money. My wallet is her favorite place to play. She has even learned how to take the cards out now. I guess that toy is done with. Jed dressed himself us like this to play. I am not even sure what he was playing, but it was worth a picture. All I know is, at least he was safe.
Jed and Olivia made "beds" to play in today. Jed was very nice and shared the blanket and got her a pillow. Poor Grace is at school, so she doesn't get all this fun, or any pictures for that matter.

Jed's First Day of "School"

Jed has his first day of school today. He loved it. It is the same program Grace went to last year, but now it is a bit longer and they eat lunch there. I love the teacher, and so does Jed. He was thrilled to get to be a big boy now, and I am thrilled to have some time to pack!
Here is more of the kitchen. If any of you who have been to my house remember, there was a big pantry and stove between the kitchen and dining area. I am pleased with it all so far.
I took this one to show off my floors, all done by me! (and some help from a girl in my ward. She is a life saver!) I think they are beautiful!

Accomplishments

Strangely, Chris and I have always taken pictures of our children's first bloody nose. Not many other milestones get a picture, but these ones really count. Well, this weekend, Olivia reached that milestone. She was sitting in a open cupboard and took a header into the table leg. She was not happy, but she sure knows how to pose! This is the aftermath of the fall, but I really took the picture to show off her cute hair. Yay, it is finally long enough to do!!!
More accomplishments on the kitchen. Over the weekend, we installed all cabinets and painted the walls. Now I get to do floors tomorrow and counters will be installed within the next 2 weeks! A light perhaps?
