Grace's Birthday and Baptism

Once again, blogger hates loading pictures the way I set up.

Last week was Grace's 8th birthday. She was so excited and wanted just a few things. Lego's, pillow pets, clothes, you know, just a few things. She was lucky enough to have some cousins visiting to share the day with. She requested chicken and rice casserole for her dinner with chocolate cupcake with chocolate frosting.
Grace and Chris before the baptism. She was a lucky girl and had 19 family members come into town for her special day.

The 3 of us. The lighting was making my camera funny, but I didn't realize until now, but we get the jist of it.

Grace and Jordan after the baptism. They are little buddies and were excited to share the day together. You can't see in this picture, but Grace had a red harbow and red shoes on. She wanted a pop of color to go with her white outfit.

And of course, the random present picture at the end. Darn Blogger!

It is crazy to me to thing she is 8 already. She is so smart and funny and wants to be good all the time. She received a box of books from my parents for her birthday that she is quickly reading. Thank heavens for libraries, or we would spend all our money on books for her.

Hey Chica.

Download Windows Live Writer for free and your life will change. You create your posts in there and upload them to your blog. Doing it on blogger stinks! Download it NOW:)

I wish we could have been there. And I love Chris' lumberjack beard. I thought I was back in Alaska for a minute. Grace looks so big and beautiful. 8 comes too fast. If only there was a slow motion button.
