Last week I made a wedding dress for a girl at church. We went and picked out fabric and a pattern on Friday, but when we got home, I realized it just wasn't going to work. So I called my wonderful mother, and she had a pattern to send to me, so I expected to get it on Tuesday. Well, by Wednesday I was a little worried, so I went and bought another pattern, and made the dress on Thursday, (when my mom's pattern showed up) and hemmed it Friday and had a wedding Saturday. In the mean time, I had ordered a new sewing machine, so it was nice to use on this dress, and I LOVE the machine.
