Last week I made a wedding dress for a girl at church. We went and picked out fabric and a pattern on Friday, but when we got home, I realized it just wasn't going to work. So I called my wonderful mother, and she had a pattern to send to me, so I expected to get it on Tuesday. Well, by Wednesday I was a little worried, so I went and bought another pattern, and made the dress on Thursday, (when my mom's pattern showed up) and hemmed it Friday and had a wedding Saturday. In the mean time, I had ordered a new sewing machine, so it was nice to use on this dress, and I LOVE the machine. You can't see it very well, but here it is in all it's glory!

"Yo Adrian"
The other day we were at the church and Jed was playing around and pretty much sprinted into a table. Lucky for Jed he is table height, so he has a fancy new shiner to show off to all his friends. It is always a little more swollen when he wakes up, so he tells me his eye is "going down". He doesn't complain at all, so at least he is good about it.

A Finished Product
We finished the dog house and had to give it a good paint job. We used some old paint the previous owners of our house had left here and the kids had a great time. I love the concentration and the tongue with Grace, it is exactly like my brother Dave!
This is Olivia being up to no good. She pulled out all the movies and then crawled back there. What a stinker!

A House for Jack
It seems as though we just got Jack yesterday, but it has now been a month! We have decided that he should have a proper house. It has been a week long after work activity for Chris and the kids. Grace is very excited to paint it on Saturday(hopefully it is done). All the construction is going on in the basement, where the kids enjoy playing and "helping". The pictures are of the kids covering their ears when the saw is turned on. Hopefully we will have a finished product in the near future.

Jed's Mind
Yesterday we went to a free kids movie at the local theater. Just before the movie started I took the kids to the bathroom, thinking it would be quick. Not so. Jed decided he needed to poo, and wanted to take his time. We were late for the beginning of the movie, but it was worth it for this small conversation.
Me: Are you done, the movie is going to start without us.
Jed: I'm pushing.
Me: Push really hard with your belly.
Jed: Where do poops live?
Me: Poops? In your belly.
Jed: Do they visit their grandma?
Me: Um, they sure do.
What a cute little boy. I never thought I could love talking about poo!

Local Wildlife
Today I noticed how many animals we see in our yard on a near daily basis, so I decided to photograph them in order to share with the rest of you!
